Evi-Edna Ogholi is a Nigerian reggae musician who rose to fame in the late 1980s with her album "My Kind of Music". She was born on July 6, 1965, in Isoko, Delta State, Nigeria. Evi-Edna began her music career at a young age by singing in church choir. In 1986, she released her debut album "Step by Step" which included the hit song "Happy Birthday". Evi-Edna went on to release several other popular albums such as "My Kind of Music" and "On the Move". Her music was a fusion of reggae, highlife, and afrobeat, and her lyrics often touched on social and political issues. Evi-Edna is regarded as one of the pioneers of Nigerian reggae music and has been an inspiration to many musicians in Nigeria. She is married with children and continues to perform and record music.
